Aid Cody’s Fight in ICU Recovery

Product Description

On Thursday, May 22, Cody was entering the crosswalk on his bike, at the intersection of Wingfield Springs Road and Florentine, on his way to Van Gorder Elementary School to pick up his brother from kindergarten. A woman was speeding in the school zone, going approximately 30 mph, and struck Cody on the left side. The impact was severe enough that both his helmet and his shoes came off. He was thrown several feet and landed half in the road and half on the curb. He was transported by ambulance to Renown Medical Center in their trauma ICU.

As of Saturday, May 24, he has not woken up. Cody is on a ventilator with a bruised lung and a traumatic brain injury. As of right now, we have not been able to obtain the driver’s insurance information. I do know they were investigating on the scene until around 7 PM on May 22, and that’s when the car was towed for evidence.
